Other fossil generated 879 TWh worldwide in 2025, 2.8% of all electricity. The largest producers are Saudi Arabia, China and Iran. Figures are Ember annual statistics. Other fossil is mostly oil products, plus smaller fuels such as oil shale, peat and waste gases, as Ember groups them.
